Left Bank Butchery (Storefront)
We're located in the old “drug room” of the mill (where dyes were mixed). We love for folks to come hang out at the shop. You’ll find plenty of books to inspire meals, riveting conversations, and above-average music.
Thursday & Friday: 11-7
Blue Dogwood Public Market
We're sad to let you all know that we will be closing our stall in the Blue Dogwood Public Market. Our last day open will be Saturday, June 1st (the market will remain open). For the past year, we have relied on the loyalty of our best customers (you all!), but ultimately the market was not the right fit for Left Bank. We so greatly appreciate the dedication that all of you have shown towards world-class agriculture, and to our craft.
Don't worry though! You can still find us Saturday at the Carrboro Farmer's Market (and some Wednesday markets), and of course in Saxapahaw Thursday through Sunday. Also, coming this September, we will be partnering with Josh DeCarolis of Mother & Sons to open Alimentari at Left Bank in the Transfer Co. Food Hall in Raleigh. The Alimentari will have all the same fresh meats and charcuterie that you all have come to expect, along with tigelle sandwiches, fresh pastas, and other Italian specialties. In addition to all of our locations our online ordering system makes it easy for you to let us know what you'd like and we'll have it ready for you to pickup!
The Chapel Hill and Carrboro community has been the backbone of our businesses- Cane Creek, Braeburn, and Left Bank's alike. Perhaps someday we will find another opportunity to have a permanent presence in this community. Until then, we hope that you don't find a country stroll out to Saxapahaw (or a trip to the Carrboro Farmers Market) to be too far to go for world class meat.
One last time, thank you for supporting the only whole-animal butchery and charcuterie shop in the Triangle. We'll see you all soon!
Carrboro Farmer’s Market
We look forward to bringing our mobile butcher trailer to the Carrboro Farmer's Market Wednesdays (3:00-6:00) and Saturdays (7-12) between April and October, and on Saturdays (9-12) from November to March. Because of the rules of the market, we will only sell product from Cane Creek Farm. Due to limited space on our mobile butcher trailer, if you have a special request, please email ahead of time and we can bring it to market. Again, we will only sell product from Cane Creek Farm at market.
The Saxapahaw Farmers Market and Music Series ("Saturdays in Saxapahaw") is a highlight of the summer. Come listen to great bands every Saturday (5-8), do some shopping with area farmers, have a glass of wine on the hill, and grab a sausage sandwich from our cart!
During the rest of the year, we also run the cart for shows at the Haw River Ballroom. The Ballroom is one of the best sounding and beautiful venues you find anywhere, and they continue to book wonderful shows. Ah, we love them!
The Eddy Pub
Left Bank Butchery was hatched from inside The Eddy, and we’re thrilled to have them as neighbors and collaborators. Find out what makes The Eddy Pub the real deal when it comes to Farm-to-Fork eating. Located beside Left Bank, Chef Isaiah and the crew have a constantly changing menu using meat from Left Bank and the freshest local ingredients. With a warm and beautiful atmosphere, delicious Farm-to-Fork meals, a gorgeous view over the Haw River, and a comradery fitting of the word “pub”- The Eddy is truly a special place.
