Welcome to Left Bank Butchery!
Our butcher shop is built on the foundations of supporting local agriculture, providing healthy food for our community, educating and engaging our customers in the many aspects of sustainable farming and whole animal butchery. Whole-animal means we take in whole pigs, lambs, and cows and cut to order on a weekly basis. With this nose-to-tail approach, we can offer a wide range of fresh cuts, fresh sausages, smoked and cured meats, frozen products and meals, bones, and more. Because our product range is limited by the number of animals we take in weekly, you are welcome to use our pre-order form to reserve items that come in few quantities and also the wide array of products we offer.

Our butchers are working 7 days a week in an effort to fill orders as quickly as possible. If you order later in the week (Friday or later) we will do our best to check our email and to complete all orders. If you’re planning on picking up the same day as you put in the order- please call the shop to confirm that we’ve read your order (336.525.2092) . Hope to see you in Saxapahaw soon!

Left Bank Butchery is located in Saxapahaw’s former textile mill and serves the community that raises our delicious and sustainable meat, as well as dedicated friends in neighboring communities and counties. If you’re not local, we suggest making a half or full-day trip out here to Saxapahaw and enjoy the many amenities it has to offer: lunch or dinner at various local eateries, canoe or kayak “Saxapahaw Lake” on the Haw River, hike the trails along the river bank, take your kids to Saxapahaw Island Park, attend Saturdays in Saxapahaw concerts, shop at the local independent retail stores, and more!
Alimentari at Left Bank is a collaboration between Mothers and Sons’ Josh DeCarolis and Left Bank Butchery. Located In Raleigh’s Transfer Co. Food Hall, Alimentari at Left Bank serves a menu of tigelle sandwiches, fresh pasta by the pound, and other Italian specialties in addition to being Raleigh’s only completely local, whole animal butchery and charcuterie shop.
