Now With More AC

The square footage of our shop hasn't grown in the past 11 years but every other aspect of Left Bank has. With more employees, more freezers, more customers and, it could be argued, warmer temps, we find ourselves getting a little hot in the summer. Having a hood system that runs nearly constantly for our smoker and the hundreds of gallons of stock we make a month, some of us were finding that ethereal plane of heat-induced madness that pairs particularly poorly with sharp knives and large animals. This week, to our great delight, we invested in some additional air conditioning that has us all feeling a little more enlivened. Not the biggest deal when you pop in for a steak but a really big deal when you spend 10 hours cutting said steaks.

We all had a real nice time being closed for the fourth and hope you enjoyed the day as well. A little reprieve from the heat and beautiful weather made for a fine holiday. Things are back to normal this week and we hope you will come see us. Have a walk, grab a drink, eat some lunch then pick up the best thing you will eat all week from the shop. Our meat really crushes.
