If Jazz Was a Sandwich

As you probably know, Saturdays in Saxapahaw begins again next weekend, May 3rd. This is the 20th year of Saxapahaw's summer music series! I know of nothing else quite like Saturdays in Sax. It's free, the music is great, the setting is lovely and it's right beside the butcher shop. For the last few years, we have been a stalwart for sandwiches on Saturday afternoons. This year, we decided to do something a little more focused.

Starting next weekend, we will be at market every Saturday with a New Orleans themed menu! We have an excellent bakery whose bread we will be using for Muffaletta sandwiches made with all house cured meats. There will also be homemade bacon pecan pralines that Malik of Melville Bakery is going to be crafting for us. If you aren't feeling a sandwich, we are going to have some excellent ready to go charcuterie boards with Sour Bakery crackers. Lastly, to round it out, we are going to have Zapp's Chips and Abita root beer. We are really excited about this offering and are looking forward to doing something that feels really festive! Thanks for all of you who come out for these great summer days.

If you need any meat this week, come see us or drop an order. We're here with lots of things to make you happy.
