See some pigs and get lost

Hey everybody, how you doing? We're good over here and preparing for a busy Saturday with Sleepyfest happening all over town. We're happy that people way hipper than us think Saxapahaw is cool enough to host awesome events. We're going to keep it short and let you know that this week we have a lamb and also one of the last Ossabaw pigs we will have for the year. 

Orders have been pretty crazy lately, so we would encourage you to let us know early if you would like something special. The temperature dropped ten degrees and everyone is hot to trot for some braising.

With that, here is a message from Eliza of Cane Creek Farm about the excellent corn maze that will open through the end of October...

Hey friends and lovely customers. I am sure you have heard about our first annual corn maze but did you also know that we have the cutest activities area with really fun, farm-centric games and challenges as well as donkeys, sheep and the Ossabaw herd right here with us next to the corn? You can host a party with your friends and family for a birthday, reunion or quinceañera

It’s a lot like our beloved Pluck Farm with concessions and live music on our adorable stage Friday, Saturday and Sunday. And food trucks Saturday and Sunday.  But then there’s the awesome maze of corn which takes a long while to solve as you wind around a couple miles of trails in a giant Celtic cross.

We would love you to buy your pumpkins here for Jack-o-lanterns and pie. You can paint or carve them and hang out for a spell!  The sunsets are magnificent from the tower in the maze or at the fire pit!
