What a Spring
We're pretty grateful for this slow-rolling, beautiful spring we're having before the heat of summer sets in. A lot of us at the shop have spent much of our work life in jobs outside. Working indoors can leave us a bit starved for long warm days outside. Fortunately for us, we have massive original mill windows that let all the long light in. When you come in the shop, we hope you can feel all of that light and find this about as pretty a butcher shop as you could hope for.
If you are feeling like stocking up a bit with whatever the world may be bringing, we have a new box offering on the order form that could probably fit perfectly in your freezer. We are only a few weeks away from the kickoff of Saturday's in Sax the first weekend of May. We will be offering a new menu this year that should have something for everyone. We will also be at Mayfest at Thistledown Farm on Saturday, April 26th. This is a great event to come out and see local vendors, have some food and listen to music. There are lots of great shows at the Haw River Ballroom coming up as well, so bring a cooler then go see a show!
